Hi there,
Long time since the last blog post. Time to have an idea, to make it mature and then prototype it.
So, the next extension after WSE Status we're working on concerns the developer ability to easily modify templates and make overrides in eZ Publish's back office.
In last version of eZPublish, developers have been prejudiced due to focus on high value added features. This is mainly linked to the emergence of the eZ Market place that provided packaged extension to companies.
By the way, our extension provides a new menu in the back office allowing you to do the followings :
This extension is still in progress and may be out at the end of January.
Thank's a lot for beta testers helping us to fix the bugs.
The demo will be maintained, just get an account on it to try it.

Another delivery that is correcting several issues, notably on the direct messages feature.

This is the new extension of Wascou Edition Software that provides great social network for eZPublish !
This extension is available now and can be bought. Contact maxime dot thomas at wascou dot org for further information and look at the product page WSE - Status.
This extension has also been purposed to be added in the eZSystems XTEND Market Place.
There will be soon a movie and some screenshots to picture it.
The point has been made on other projects we want to develop :
We will publish some book reviews in the next weeks, some good stuff have been learned.
We will answer this week to an interview for the Research Program initialized by eZSystems.

WSE Status is almost finish and we are completing some details about eZFind.
The documentation is written and we will published the Documentation Page in the software section very soon.
The movie and screenshots have been planned and will be out at the end of the month.
After two month of refactoring, WDS is nearly ready to be revealed to the world. The last QA tests are running and we may have a first release for the 1st october. In this first version, WDS will be compliant with SVN, SSH and MySQL. And all this without a line of shell batch.
The software section has been created on this website and will soon present all needed information : features, roadmap, gallery, documentation (user and developer).
Ok, here's some news for the month of June : as you may know, there's the big eZ event on the 24th - 25th of June.
It's the biggest OpenSource CMS event in Europe (maybe in the world) and I'll participate as an eZPublish Partner for the Wascou Software Edition and as an Open Source CMS Consultant for the Logica Paris IT Services.
I guess it will be a great opportunity to talk you about my solutions and to share tips and tricks about eZ / Zeta components.

I made a very big jump in the devlopment of the Wascou Deployment Suite and will be soon able to provide some data on it.
What I can tell is that it is totally based on eZComponents and jQuery UI and it aims to ease the life of people who have to deploy, several websites, several times a week, with different configurations on different plate-forms.
It's a very powerful tool that can be used in many ways and will have a lots of plugins / extension.
